D600 camera with video compression and weather sealed body

Nikon D600 is the latest camera from Nikon which is expected to hit the market soon. The specs that were rumored about this camera earlier proved to be false as Nikon announced their specs officially yesterday. However, camera enthusiasts can rejoice as new specs are really more interesting than the rumored ones. The camera has a full frame sensor of 24.7MP which promises impressive picture efficiency. It comes up flexible video compression options and also a weather protection cover.nikon-d600Nikon D600 weighs 760g exclusive of the weight of battery and memory cards and it may go up to 850g inclusive of them. It features a LCD display of 3.2 inch with 921K dot which has an ambient sensor control. You can view the captured pictures in TV with the help of HDMI output. This Nikon camera features video compression facilities, as well. It works with HD in 60p, 50p, 30p and 25p. For full HD, it works with 30p, 25p and 24p too.

Feature:

  • 24.7MP full frame sensor
  • Weight: 760g (850g with battery and memory cards),
  • 3.2″ LCD with 921K dot with ambient sensor control
  • HDMI output
  • Video compression: H264/MPEG-4
  • Full HD with 30p, 25p, 24p, HD with 60p, 50p, 30p, 25p
  • Viewfinder coverage: 100% for FX , 97% for Dx
  • The Nikon D600 will have built-in AF motor
  • The body most probably will be weather sealed
  • The D600 may not have built-in GPS as initially reported
  • ISO range: 100-6400
  • 39 AF points, 9 cross-type AF points
  • AF face detection
  • Exposure compensation: ±5 EV
  • The D600 will probably use the EN-EL15 rechargeable Li-ion battery

The view finder coverage of Nikon D600 reaches 100% for FX and 97% for Dx. This camera comes with a built in AF motor. Other interesting specification Nikon camera is that it most probably comes with a weather sealed body making it convenient for use in all environment conditions. Though the earlier reports suggested the availability of GPS module, the new spec sheet doesn’t confirm that.

The picture efficiency is very well maintained by an ISO range of 100-6400. The camera can claim superior auto focusing capability. It seems to have 39 AF points along with an optional eleven AF points. In addition this, Nikon D600 will also have nine cross-type auto focus points. Face detection is another feature worth mentioning. The Exposure compensation of the new Nikon camera is ±5 EV adding to the imaging efficiency.
However, features like Built-in flash, In-camera editor, Auto DX crop mode, two user settings etc which was rumored earlier are not confirmed as of now.
Most probably, Nikon D600 will be featuring rechargeable EN-EL15 Li-ion battery which is expected to give good back up time. Nikon D600 will reach the Nikon camera market in standard black outfit. The price information of this new Nikon camera is not disclosed as of now.

Taj Mahal was protected from bomber jets in 1942 during world war

It was covered with huge scaffold, to make it look like a stockpile of bamboo and misguide bombers.

The covering is still incomplete in this photo. The whole of Taj Mahal was covered but this picture shows only the main dome covered. The govt. didnt allow any photographers later to shoot the final scaffold cover.

During the India-Pakistan war in 1971, it was protected by covering it with a green cloth and making it almost invisible i.e.
camouflaged within the greenery around it.
Even in 2001, after the Sep 11 attack, Archaeological Survey of India took up the precautionary measure to
cover it with cloth and it took them more than 20 days to do that!!

Billa 2 to release on Vijay's Birthday

When Ajith's 'Billa 2' hits the screens on June 22, it will take the theatres of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh by storm, as plans are on to release the film in almost all top cinema halls in both the States.
Billa 2 (5)"Aascar V Ravichandran, who has acquired the Tamil Nadu distribution rights, has booked top screens all over the State. Likewise, leading AP theatres have been booked to screen the Telugu version, titled 'David Billa: The Beginning'," sources say.

While Karnataka will see the release of both the versions, the Tamil version will be released simultaneously in Kerala and other States, besides foreign countries. So this 51st film of Ajith will be released in more than 1000 screens around the world.

Directed by Chakri Toleti, the movie is produced by In Entertainment and Wide Angle Creations. It is a prequel to 'Billa' and has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja

Cyber attack "The Flame"

As I already expect, the war between nations get into a new dimension; the cyber war. Even-though it happens all over the world for last few years the horrible face of this war was clearly identified in May 2012. The Flame.... a symbol of cyber war... a mile stone in virus history... a headache to the governments and antivirus technologists... THE FLAME. It is not a flame of fire, it is a monsoon of fire....Flame Virus (1)As usual Flame also attacks computers running the Microsoft Windows operating system. It can spread to other systems over a local network (LAN) or via USB stick. It can record audio, screenshots, keyboard activity and network traffic as usual key-loggers; but it has some more advanced and unbelievable features to steal data from the target. The program records Skype conversations and can turn infected computers into Bluetooth beacons which attempt to download contact information from nearby Bluetooth-enabled devices. Flame has the facility to turn on microphone to record the conversations. This data, along with locally stored documents, is sent on to one of several command and control servers that are scattered around the world. The program then awaits further instructions from these servers.

Flame Virus (3)According to estimates by Kaspersky in May 2012, Flame had infected approximately 1,000 machines, with victims including governmental organizations, educational institutions and private individuals. At that time the countries most affected were Iran, Israel, Sudan, Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt, with a "huge majority of targets" within the first.[8] Flame has also been reported in Europe and North America. Flame supports a "kill" command which wipes all traces of the malware from the computer. Flame stopped operating after its public exposure, and the "kill" command was sent.

Flame Virus (2)Now the creators of the world's most complicated espionage virus, Flame, have sent a ‘suicide' command that removes it from some infected computers. Security firm Symantec caught the command using booby-trapped computers set up to watch Flame's actions. According to Symantec, the ‘suicide' command was “designed to completely remove Flame from the compromised computer,” the BBC reports. The command located every Flame file sitting on a PC, removed it and then overwrote memory locations with gibberish to thwart forensic examination. “It tries to leave no traces of the infection behind,” Symantec wrote on its blog.Flame Virus (4)Flame came to light last week after the U.N.'s telecom body asked for help in spotting a virus found stealing data from many PCs in the Middle East. Analysts who have investigated the virus said Flame, also called Skywiper, was one of the most complex computer espionage threats ever seen.
